Object Counting is a feature to count
people from „Zone1 to Zone2” ,
„Zone 2 Zone 1” or both directions.
IVS Cameras Family
The basic features:
• Face Detection
Face detection requires high accuracy in those places where a lot
of people staying. IVS software is able to count the faces in the
image and highlight it , making it easier nding a particular face
in all conditions.
• Face Recognition
Cameras can record images of the faces in memory, so when
the camera detects a face which is not stored in the database it
triggers an alarm (or signal on other external device).
• e-Fence
The e-fence is a virtual fence on the camera image used for home
monitoring. When an intruder exceeds previously de ned line,
the camera will automatically send the appropriate e-mail or trig-
ger an alarm.
• i-Motion
i- Motion o ers 4 detection zones to protect objects and detect
intruders. This function is more accurate than traditional motion
detection. It can be triggered by objects such as people and cars
- instead changes of pixels in the image.
• Trip Zone
This function can be used to detect objects moving from one
area to another, and also allows to detect objects moving in the
wrong direction. The alarm can be triggered at a given time inte-
rval or number of objects. The unique adjustable detection area
provides more accurate detection.
• Objects Counting
One of the useful features of IVS (Intelligent Video Surveillance)
IP cameras is counting objects, such as cars, pedestrians or other
size objects. After exceeding a speci ed number of objects came-
ras with IVS are able to trigger an alarm or noti cation, and save
the collected data to the database for later analysis. Data from
the database can be used for planning and improving sales, for
example, by analyzing the number of customers at the entrance
to the store. The counting objects function is based on counting
objects crossing the previously set limit or zone.
The zone does not have to be a physical area, it is de ned in the
camera settings. In the case of people, counting zone may be a
hallway, foyer or entrance doors. When counts cars, you can set
the junction zone, any point along the highway or gate.
